Jan 14-30, 2011South Florida FairSouth Florida Fair & Palm Beach County Expositions, Inc.South Florida Farigrounds
West Palm Beach, FL
One of the greatest aspects of the annual fair is its agricultural and livestock exhibits which clearly provide the greatest variety of such exhibits anywhere within Palm Beach County. Even though agriculture is such a tremendous part of Palm Beach County’s economic base, many school children have never been exposed to it. However, at the annual South Florida Fair, not only can they see and learn all about agriculture, but can even witness a calf being born, or learn how a dairy is operated.

Feb 11-20, 2011Osceola County Fair & Kissimmee Valley Livestock ShowKissimmee Valley Livestock ShowSilver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park
Kissimmee,
It all started informally in the early 1940’s on the grounds of the Kissimmee Livestock Market. Whether or not it started out to be, it became Kissimmee Valley Range Cattle Show. It was interrupted during the war years, but came alive for good in 1944. For many years it was simply known as the Kissimmee Valley Livestock Show; however, in 1951 the name and scope changed to the Kissimmee Valley Livestock Show and Fair Association. Twenty of the county’s leading citizens set their signatures to the articles of incorporation and Frank Poffenbaugh became its first president. The purpose of this organization is to foster the development of education, commerce, industry and agriculture in Osceola County and the Kissimmee Valley area, and to hold and foster fairs, livestock shows, and sales of purebred livestock for stock breeders, 4-H club members or Future Farmers of America organization members, and to provide a site therefore, including physical buildings, equipment and such other items as may be necessary for such events in Osceola County, Florida.
